This is our second release from Kamavindi Estate and perhaps the best Kenya we have ever shared. After our first discovery of their rare Geisha, we knew there was something truly special about this farm. Run by two brothers dedicated to exceptional quality, Kamavindi sits at the heart of Kirinyaga and continues to surprise us with its remarkable coffees.
This lot is a single varietal SL43, a classic Kenyan cultivar known for its refined structure and vivid acidity. Carefully handpicked at peak ripeness, the cherries underwent Kenya’s traditional washed process, with a meticulous multi stage fermentation and slow sun drying to ensure absolute clarity and precision in the cup.
The result is a stunningly bright, layered, and juicy coffee, with notes of blackcurrant, red berries, citrus zest, and a silky, refined sweetness. It is everything we love about Kenyan coffee at its absolute best and we are incredibly proud to offer it to you.
