Last year, during our trip to Colombia, we had the pleasure of visiting the Ome family in Huila. Oscar, a young and incredibly inspiring individual, and his kind father welcomed us warmly. We were amazed by their creativity and the beauty of their farm. In addition to cultivating coffee, they also raise chickens, which help fertilize their coffee trees. During our visit, we tasted their papaya cherries and knew immediately that we wanted coffee from these exceptional trees.

The coffee from the Ome family's farm is extraordinarily sweet, reminiscent of fresh sugar cane juice, with a delightful stone fruit acidity. It offers a medium mouthfeel and finishes with a distinctive panela aftertaste. This combination of flavors, stone fruit acidity, sugar cane sweetness, medium mouthfeel, and a panela aftertaste makes it truly unforgettable.
