Bursa Unique

Bursa Unique Cold is a natural heirloom lot from Arbegona in Sidama, rested through a cold ferment before drying. It is complex and layered, with berries, white florals, and tropical yellow fruit. This is one of the coffees we roast and pour in our own Mazelab shops. I always buy more than we can get through, so I share the extra as green. Write to me for what is in stock and a sample.

Bursa sits in Arbegona, one of the highest and coldest districts in Sidama, where cherries ripen slowly and cup sweet and bright. The Dawencho drying station here was built by Mulugeta Muntasha as coffee first took root in the village, and within a year of opening he placed second in the Cup of Excellence. In 2022 four of the top ten Cup of Excellence lots were processed at his station.
