One lot, twelve roasters
In September, Elida Estate closed its First Light auction, and one washed Geisha lot ended up shared by twelve roasters around the world. Mazelab is one of them.

EGW Vuelta · CRD · Washed · Elida Estate · Boquete · Panama. The lot closed at US$1,002 per kilogram after 546 bids, 40 kilograms in total. Twelve roasters from around the world secured it together, and Mazelab is one of them.

Elida Estate and First Light
Elida Estate sits at about 2,100 meters above Boquete, and the Lamastus family has grown coffee there for more than 108 years. First Light is their own auction. Twenty four Geisha lots were on the table this year, and before the bidding they travelled through cupping events in eight cities around the world. By the time the auction opened, cuppers on three continents had tasted the same coffees we were bidding on.
Our share is small and precious, and it is coming to Prague.
